About Us

The Chelsea Area Garden Club currently has over 50 members from Chelsea, Michigan and the surrounding communities. Regular meetings of the Chelsea Area Garden Club are held at the Chelsea First United Methodist Church at 128 Park Street, Chelsea Michigan. Usually, there is a pot luck at noon and a general meeting at 1:00 on the 2nd Monday of most months from September through May. Annual dues are $25. Funds raised go towards civic beautification, grants and scholarships.

Participation in the Garden Club includes:

• Educational programs and Field Trips

• Community involvement including civic beautification plantings along Main Street and at Chelsea District Library

• Horticultural grants given to local non-profits and start up community projects that benefit the community and align with the CAGC mission and goals
